Blow painting

This is my first experience doing blow painting. Although i had done this long back during my school days. But this particular art work gave me a sense of joy and satisfaction. The best part of this art is, its very spontaneous and every stroke gives vivid forms. Here in the picture below, I created a card board template of bird, placed it on a white sheet and started blowing colors in all direction. Normally you would think I used straw to blow paint, but thats a bad idea. I used an old ball pen, removed the refill and the bottom cap which holds the refill. Basically use any kind narrow tube with a tapered end. This will create more air pressure when you blow. Things you would need to make this type of painting: Poster colors Round brush Color palette An old ball pen (without refill) First keep the colors of you choice ready in a palette. How to make a paper Bus

Here is a simple step by step process to make a paper Bus. Things you may need: card paper, glue, scissor/knife cutter, colour paints & brush. This is how the final model will look like. Make drawing of the bus as shown in the picture below. I have kept the length as 10.7 cm, height 3 cm and width 2.3 cm. You can make your own size. Cut along the lines as shown in the picture below. Make sure you dont cut the tabs. The tabs will be used for glueing purpose. Crease the paper on the lines as shown below. This will help you easily get the cardpaper into a box shape. ; Color the bus with acrylic paint with color of your choice. You can paint the window & windscreen area with a shade of blue. Apply glue on tabs to stick the sides. This is how it looks from inside. Apply glue to the other tabs and stick the sides to form a neat box. Make 6 small circles for the wheels (i have taken a diameter of 1.2 cm) using card paper and paint it black. Stick them as shown in the picture b

A unique kind of tea prepared only in kalladka, Mangalore. Its called KT meaning Kalladka Tea. The taste is amazing and its one of a kind where you can see a clear difference between the milk layer and the tea layer. Remember its not the creaming on top of tea. Its the other way round.
