Fine Arts course correspondence

DMSLKMS, Mysore offers correspondence course in Bachelor of fine arts. Currently they offer course in:
1. Realistic Art & Modern Art
2. Applied Art

From the next academic year, the institute will be offering correspondence course in MFA too. Visit their website to know more details (http://dmslkms.org/)

The campus is situated in Mysore, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Surrounded by trees and green fields, the campus is an ideal location for artists inspiration. The class rooms are open and modelled like the Gurukula kuteera. See pictures below to get a feel of the ambience.

    1. Hi, since they conduct 20 contact classes(10 x 2 times a year). I think it should not be a problem. And also getting a BFA degree will add to your portfolio. The best here is you get good art guidance from the dean, you get to meet artists/professionals alike and ofcourse the ambience is simply great :)
I feel its worth a try!!

    1. If you have the enthu and interest, Age is definitely not a bar. When i was doing my course here, there were couple of seniors in my batch. Though you may not get full exposure like a regular college, you will have the challenge to learn the most from the limited number of classes they conduct. Also you get to meet various artist and designers from different work background. Also the campus is far away from the maddening city crowd. It’s a great place to indulge into art.
